Embracing Change

An Introduction to Susan's Journey and Vision

I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Susan and I am updating and reorienting my website to better represent my interests as well as my accumulated knowledge and experience over the decades. This is 2024 and so far it has been a really challenging year! I wonder if it has been for you too. Many people are experiencing changes—big changes—in their lives. Sometimes it helps to have some company along the way and suggestions for making those changes with more clarity and conviction.

Personal Journey

Navigating Life's Twists and Turns

I’ve made lots of changes in my life. For example, because my dad was in the service we moved a lot. Between the ages of eight and ten, I changed schools ten times! I began to think that living on adrenalin was normal. That is one of the things I’m changing at this stage in my life—I’m reducing stress and learning to relax more.

Stress Reduction

Finding Balance in a Fast-Paced World

Stress is a buzzword these days. So reducing stress will be a topic of discussion. In fact, how we learn to expect stress and then rationalize and justify having it in our lives will be addressed quite a bit. I trust that I can share lots of information with you that makes sense! I’d like to provide some explanations and resources plus moral support for navigating change. A Greek philosopher said over 2500 years ago that “There is nothing permanent, except change.“

So get comfortable, and expect to have old beliefs challenged, new ideas presented and your heart opened to new possibilities!
